It’s the season of scary. Netflix knows—it’s been issuing press releases about all the Halloween-esque content it has online, and what it’s adding to bolster that even more for October.
But a new month, even one as wonderful as October, means that items must also take their leave from the world’s biggest streaming service. In the US, that list of content getting ready to vamoose is below. Sadly, it includes some genuinely scary stuff—the kind of content that’s perfect for a Halloween party.
For instance, you could shock Halloween party guests by playing gross-out legend The Human Centipede in the background—but both the first and second films are leaving Netflix before All Hallow’s arrives. Other horror flicks leaving include anthology flick V/H/S 2, the American remake of Let the Right One In called Let Me In, and Curse of Chucky, the sixth film about the demonic doll.
The best scary flicks are highlighted below, just above the full list of movies and TV shows you should watch soon. Good luck.
